“Christmas After Christmas” was going to be the subject matter for the 1980 U.S. Postal Service’s Seasons Greetings (Christmas) stamp. However, due to copyright issues of the Raggedy Anne doll, Bob had to change his stamp painting to another design.
He changed the scene to toys. It turned out to be one of the most popular stamps of that era.
Bob is the only southern artist to design a stamp.
