Description:
"Grubb's Gazebo" was originally painted on the grounds of the old Grubb mansion near Churchland, North Carolina. The gazebo is all that remains as the mansion burned many years ago. Bob surprised his good friend Robert Grubb by painting the gazebo at the request of Mr. Grubb's wife, Rochelle. Robert Grubb, a descendant of the Grubb family, had tried for years to buy the old gazebo and relocate it to his home, but relatives did not want to part with it. Bob Timberlake figured that at least Bob Grubb could finally have his gazebo, at least in the form of a painting.
